Twin Block appliance | Information from A to Z

These removable braces – one for the upper and one for the lower jaw – are elevated laterally and connect with one another. As a result, the upper and lower jaw can only bite together comfortably in a position determined beforehand by the orthodontist. This position can move the lower jaw either further forward or backward. The Twin Block belongs to the group of functional orthodontic appliances.
