Diagnosis of children and teenagers

This is how we start

Our full, professional diagnosis encompasses the following stages:  we first assess the overall status of your child’s health and examine mouth, jaw and face. We then make moulds from which plaster casts are produced. These help us to analyse the dental arch, the bite and the space available to the teeth. We also take photographs of the face and X-rays of the skull and the face, for only these can really tell us whether your child has caries, whether any permanent teeth are missing, whether the wisdom teeth have developed,  whether there are root or bone problems, and how the facial and jaw bones are growing.

This all sounds far more protracted than it actually is. And what is most important, it doesn’t hurt.
