Adult treatment

Never too late

The position of your teeth can be corrected at any time. Look at it this way: your teeth are attached to the jaw by fibres, and not firmly anchored in the bone. During orthodontic treatment we use braces to exert pressure which causes a reaction in bone and fibrous tissue gradually over time, moving your teeth in the desired direction. During treatment your teeth will become a little looser, enabling us to move them.

But once treatment has ended, and after the retention phase, they will be firmly anchored in your jaw again.
