Wisdom teeth | Information from A to Z

The third molars (wisdom teeth) erupt between age 15 and 35. If there is not enough space, they remain indented in the jaw and press against the roots of the teeth in front of them. Not all wisdom teeth are always developed. The lower wisdom teeth often show malalignments complicating eruption. Erupting wisdom teeth can cause crowding or tilting of other teeth. |
