Herbst appliance | Information from A to Z

This is a fixed orthodontic appliance used to move the lower jaw forward and employed in treatment of Class II anomalies (distal occlusion/mandibular retrusion). It is intended to help growth of the lower jaw and is a telescopic device connecting the first upper molars with the corresponding lower canines.
