Mini screw mini implant | Information from A to Z

These tiny implants are used by the orthodontist in cortical anchoring to move teeth or groups of teeth without impairing others. This is a relatively new method of anchoring in orthodontic treatment. The mini screws are anchored in different places in the jaw depending on individual treatment plans and goals. They are very helpful in closing gaps caused by missing permanent teeth, creating gaps for the implantation of an artificial root (implant), and correcting tilted teeth in prosthetic treatment.
